Summary

This job is for a Senior Software Engineer - UX (Contract) at Truveta, a health provider led data platform. The role involves collaborating with engineers, product designers, and company leadership to build annotation and normalization tools, implementing complex features for data labeling, and continuously evolving the user experience. The position requires a BS/MS degree in CS or related technical discipline, 5+ years of professional development experience, and expertise in web development using React and Typescript.

What you'll do

Collaborate with other engineers, product designers and the company leadership to build annotation and normalization tools.
Implement complex features such as text highlighting, tagging, and categorization within large paragraphs to facilitate data labeling for machine learning.
Collaborate with ML engineers to understand the data annotation needs and translate these into effective software solutions.
Determine and apply the right building blocks, test harnesses and processes that pave the way for continuous evolution of the experience.
Learn along with the rest of the company and its customers.
Create a world-class reputation for quality by being customer obsessed.
Seek and respond to feedback from users and stakeholders.
Commit to ongoing training on key topics like privacy, ethics, and security.

Requirements

BS/MS degree in CS or related technical discipline or equivalent years of experience.
5+ years of professional development experience designing, coding and debugging.
Web development experience using React and Typescript. We also use Mobx, Redux, Material UI on our web stack.
Optimize application performance to handle a vast amount of data without compromising the user experience.
Familiarity with building dashboards, forms and graphical visualization to generate insights from data.
Familiarity with RESTful API design.
Prior experience in developing tools for machine learning or data annotation as well as a passion for AI and its potential to transform industries.
Experience with any of the modern public clouds, especially Azure is a plus.
