This job is for a Content Operations Specialist on a contract basis at Twitch. The role involves reviewing, prioritizing, and scheduling content programs, as well as writing and editing code to curate streams and applying categorization/taxonomies to optimize collections of content.
What you'll do
- Write and edit code that filters and curates streams according to geography, language and content
- Review and prioritize business cases for promotional requests
- Apply categorization/taxonomies to streams that optimize collections of content
- Ideate creative strategies to curating content and special features
- QC copy, dates and metadata; troubleshoot issues involved in program operations
Requirements
- Working experience in JavaScript, JSON, XML, Python or Ruby
- Hands-on content management experience in a CMS scheduling, updating and publishing posts or video; impeccable attention to detail
- Proven ability to understand competing business needs then thoughtfully and professionally communicate to resolve them
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving and editorial skills; ideally, experience curating carousels, updating editorial priorities or promotional units
- Familiarity with Jira, Airtable and other project management tools
