This job is for a Contracting Operations Specialist at Stripe. What you'll do
- Engage internal stakeholders to prepare and drive contracts efficiently
- Partner with internal teams to improve collaboration and reduce risk
- Utilize templates and fall back positions
- Manage contracts within Contract Lifecycle Management system
- Responsible for end-to-end contract lifecycle management
- Understand commercial and legal language in contracts
- Partner with business contacts to solve inquiries and troubleshoot
- Analyze processes and instigate changes for operational improvement
- Analyze internal data and pull reporting for improvements
- Assist with internal and external ad-hoc requests
- Participate in building a new team and operational culture
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience on formulating and reviewing the end-to-end of contract lifecycle management with a degree in Law or relevant field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent Stripe effectively by interfacing with and influencing experienced business leaders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze problems and make complex investigatory decisions
- Ability to earn trust quickly and drive value for a critical function involving multiple stakeholders with the ability to stand behind opinions with sound reasoning
- An operationally focused mindset, with a laser focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a rigorous decision making process
- Strong knowledge of gSuite tools, MS-Office products and experience working with/analyzing contracts
- Independently analyze and evaluate information from various data sources to determine a course of action
- Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated history of taking on various types of challenging projects and producing results
- Solution-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for establishing best practice
- Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented
