Summary

This job is for a Part-Time Community Barista at the WeWork-Salesforce Tower in San Francisco, CA. The responsibilities include operating the Espresso Bar, providing outstanding service to WeWork members, and creating an engaging environment on the main Community floor.

What you'll do

  • Daily operation of the Espresso Bar (Working Shift: Monday-Thursday; 7:30am-3:00p) as the sole Barista during this time.
  • Prepare coffee and espresso drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for espresso-based drinks and other offerings.
  • Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains a clean and well-stocked coffee bar at all times.
  • Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, and any other amenities for the coffee bar.
  • Provide support when needed to the other community team members at or near the main community front desk. This may include welcoming members with warmth to the space outside of the coffee bar and providing help with any needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of post High School education preferred
  • 1+ years experience as a Barista
  • 2+ years of equivalent experience in a restaurant/ hospitality environment.
  • Up to date Food handler certificate
