Summary

ZipRecruiter is seeking an experienced individual to lead go-to-market for their Enterprise business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in positioning, messaging, and content development, and be able to craft compelling and differentiated messaging across the customer journey.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive and competitive positioning strategies for our products in the Enterprise B2B market.
  • Craft compelling and differentiated messaging across the customer journey that resonates with target audiences.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand and articulate the unique value propositions of our offerings.
  • Create messaging frameworks that can be effectively communicated across various channels and touchpoints.
  • Oversee key enterprise claims and continually develop new ones that support our key value props
  • Lead the development of high-quality, customer-centric content, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and other collateral.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency and alignment with overall messaging and positioning strategies.
  • Develop an enterprise content calendar and oversee development, launch, and reporting in partnership with customer marketing, sales enablement, and PR.
  • Partner with the sales team to create sales enablement tools and resources that empower the sales force with effective messaging.
  • Monitor and gather feedback from sales teams to continuously refine and improve positioning and messaging approaches.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, and other teams to gather insights and feedback that inform marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and ensure positioning and messaging is accurate across all talk tracks and written content.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B product marketing, with at least 10+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing positioning and messaging strategies that have positively impacted product adoption and market share.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on crafting clear, persuasive, and engaging content.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to inform positioning strategies.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, fostering strong relationships with product management, sales, and other key stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in content strategy, development, and management, including writing, editing, and overseeing external contractors.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and execute a comprehensive content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Experience in translating complex technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging
  • Track record of developing and adapting strategies based on data and performance metrics to optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Ability to tailor communication styles for different audiences, including customers, internal teams, and executives.
