The job is for a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) responsible for managing and administering all aspects of industrial security for multiple programs in compliance with government security directives. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and 6+ years of industrial security experience.
What you'll do
- Manage and administer all aspects of industrial security for multiple programs in compliance with the NISPOM, ICDs and other applicable government security directives.
- Responsible for security operations and response for an office in Annapolis Junction, MD. Candidate would be expected to work on site.
- Provide direct support for facility security, visit certifications, document control, physical security, including alarm responses.
- Conduct self-inspections; manage preparations for and support of security inspections and audits by government security personnel.
- Routinely interact with both internal and external customers in support of program-related activities.
Requirements
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to be considered for this position.
- 6+ years of industrial security experience.
- Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), ICD 705, and other IC policies and directives.
- Hands on experience with SCIF management and operations.
- Working knowledge of DISS, Scattered Castles, SIMS, and ACS/IDS systems.
- Completed COMSEC training and working knowledge of DIAS.
