Contract PositionSummary
SpaceX is seeking a Contractor Service Administrator for Facilities to manage and coordinate multiple service contracts for maintenance of SpaceX facilities, ensuring vendors meet standards and services are delivered efficiently.
What you'll do
- Manage, coordinate and act as the liaison for multiple service contracts such as janitorial, DI water systems, pest control, fuel distribution, landscaping, waste management, etc.
- Partner with Purchasing on the RFP/ bid process for multiple service contracts.
- Coordinate operational schedules for vendors to not affect or slow down the SpaceX operation.
- Work with suppliers to increase efficiency in service delivery.
- Ensure vendors meet SpaceX, Air Force and NASA standards while delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship in the agreed timeframe.
- Manage the traffic of operational requests and follow through completing of tasks that require support from vendors SpaceX engages in continued service contract.
- Interact with tradesman, contractors and building officials to coordinate and execute maintenance repair of facilities support equipment.
- Direct system repairs of Facilities, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, fire protection, water and plumbing infrastructure, paint, and grounds keeping.
- Coordinate and facilitate furniture requests to align with site standards.
- Manage fleet vehicle requests, insurance, tags and maintenance with automotive shop.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance with the capability organizing work with multiple trades
