Summary

This job is for a Part-Time Design Sales Advisor at Wayfair's Joss & Main store. The role involves providing a best-in-class customer experience by connecting customers with a wide range of home products and assisting them with their design needs and purchases.

What you'll do

  • Lead and create a best in class customer experience
  • Deliver on sales and service KPIs
  • Guide customers through product features and functionality
  • Introduce the online assortment and mobile web and app capabilities
  • Help navigate customers through their design needs and purchases
  • Host booked appointments and give design advice
  • Assist walk-ins on the sales floor and in the design studio
  • Utilize design tools and CRM software
  • Create designs for customers using preferred design tools
  • Provide recommendations for budget, style, and space
  • Manage time efficiently
  • Be knowledgeable about services offered
  • Ask great questions to provide a complete sales solution
  • Close the sale and educate customers on various ways to purchase
  • Participate in operational aspects of the store
  • Exemplify a positive and professional attitude
  • Share innovative ideas and solutions
  • Engage in a high energy, focused, and dynamic work environment
  • Grow through training and career development

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience (preferably in a design related environment)
  • Passion for great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets
  • Interior design, Art, Architecture, Fashion Merchandising experience a plus
  • Strong organization, self-motivation, communication and relationship management skills
  • Track record of thriving in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team sales environment
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications preferred
  • Technical acumen to learn necessary software
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma equivalent preferred
