Summary

This job is for a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate at Wayfair's Joss & Main store in Oak Brook, IL. The job requires providing excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, and assisting customers with their design needs and purchases.

What you'll do

Lead and create a best-in-class customer experience
Deliver on sales and service KPIs
Guide customers through product features and functionality
Introduce the online assortment and mobile web and app capabilities
Assist walk-ins on the sales floor and in the design studio
Showcase design options through the occasional use of preferred design tools
Utilize design tools, CRM software, and client accounts
Provide recommendations for budget, style, and space
Ask great questions to provide a complete sales solution
Educate customers on various ways to purchase
Be an expert in the services offered in store and online
Participate in all operational aspects of the store
Exemplify a positive and professional attitude
Share innovative ideas and solutions
Engage in a high energy, focused and dynamic work environment
Grow through world class training and continuous career development

Requirements

2+ years of sales experience (preferably in a design related environment). Interior design, Art, Architecture, Fashion Merchandising experience a plus
Passion for great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets.
Strong organization, self-motivation, communication and relationship management skills.
Track record of thriving in a fast paced and changing environment.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team sales environment.
Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Technical acumen to learn necessary software.
Associates are expected to have availability to meet the needs of the business.
All employees will be expected to represent the brand through polished communication, personal appearance and professionalism.

Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold.
