The Digital, Operations, and Technology Learning organization has an opening for a highly innovative thought leader to lead growing entry level talent technical curricula. This technologist will be thoroughly familiar with GT Vision, it's objectives, scope, stakeholder expectations, and ensures the associated Learning & Development options deliver business value by getting new joiners up to speed quickly.

Engineering Academy is currently an experiential learning program offered to CCB technologists to help acclimate engineers on concepts such as clean coding, continuous integration, continuous delivery, test driven development, cloud and more. This program became so beneficial that elements of it will eventually be incorporated into the Talent 2.0 initiative for software engineers joining in all lines of business globally in 2022.

Upskilling on key technology tools and frameworks at JPMorganChase will help the engineers learn how their day to day activities support the latest GT Vision priorities. The focus will be on technical nuances related to software development and how they are applied at JPMorganChase to help enable productivity success quickly. Other objectives include fostering lifelong learning and enablement of the workforce to learn and grow in areas such as Software Modernization, Agile, Cloud, and Data. This position will also consult and recommend enhancements for the associated training, recommended learning, and programs like the Software Engineering Learning Journeys, Software Engineering Program (SEP), and Emerging Talent programs in place to support hiring priorities.

This role will become the learning product owner which includes curriculum prioritization agreements between key Technology and Business stakeholders, the Advancing You Workforce Strategy team, and the Learning & Development program teams. Responsible for bringing stakeholders together and ultimately defining required curriculum components for various types of upskilling - whether independent study, part-time programs or full time intensive. Work with partners to curate curricula to meet business needs. Prioritizes key needs based on the business value and associated risks, partnering with the program management team to manage development against milestones and backlog of work throughout the curriculum lifecycle to ensure success of the overall offering. Designs, develops, and facilitates training as needed.
* Innovative thought leader with a high degree of Technical Acumen skilled in software delivery (Java preferred)
* Knowledge of modern engineering practices: clean coding, CI/CD, TDD and cloud concepts

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technology, financial services, HR, L&D, education or similar

5-7 years of experience managing large, complex projects

3-5 years of experience in Software Engineering (Java preferred)

Proven consulting, negotiating and influencing skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal, relationship and meeting management skills

Self-directed, self-motivated and ability to work independently

Organized, able to prioritize work, able to balance multiple competing priorities

Strong working knowledge of MS Office products

Experience using training technology tools like Captivate and Storyline a plus
